Straight away I notice the quality with each stroke they have an intense colour which is partly due to what they’re made of. The Koh-I-Noor Mondeluz Coloured Pencils are advertised as having highly concentrated pigments in combination with the use of high-quality kaolin white clay for the core. Christmas has come early for me yet again, thanks to the wonderful team at Art Supplies NZ who have kindly sent me a new set of these Mondeluz Coloured pencils to try out. The case is wrapped in a card casing that to me resembles an artisan box of chocolates rather than a box of coloured pencils. Intrigued, as I have yet to try this brand, I go forth and open the box, being very careful not to damage the card casing. The pencils are encased in a beautiful metal tin.
